Our College Newly Added Art Design Major

  In accordance with Notice of Ministry of Education regarding Record or Approval of Undergraduate Majors in Regular Institutions of Higher Education in 2013 (JG [2014] No. 1) and Notice of Liaoning Education Department regarding Publishing Record or Approval of Undergraduate Majors in Regular Institutions of Higher Education in 2013 (LJF [2014] No. 39), the Art Design Major in our college was put into records upon approval of Ministry of Education. The major may begin enrolling students since 2014.
   
  The Art Design Major cultivates the compound and innovative advanced professional personnel with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physique and art, having the historical knowledge about Chinese and foreign art design, application and communication, grasping the fundamentals and research methods of art design, with design research and management capacity, knowing the global art design trend, application and communication, having the ability in independent thinking, analysis, research and practice, as well as the ability in the theoretical research in art design, design management, project design development and planning, editing and teaching.
  
  Up to now, the college has built 27 undergraduate majors, covering 4 discipline categories and 10 major categories.
