The creative industrial park – “DAC Creative Enterprise Zone” initially founded by the Northeast Universities covering an area of 40,000m2 and taking culture, science & technology and creativity as the leading directions was officially launched on August 29.
Yin Renlian, the deputy director-general of Liaoning Province Culture Department, He Xiaochun, the original deputy director-general of Liaoning Province Education Department and the deputy director of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Commission of Provincial CPPCC, Wu Zuojiang, the vice-minister of Dalian Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department and Wang Xianjun, the college chairman unveiled the nameplate of “DAC Creative Enterprise Zone”.
Over 20 partners covering 11categories providing supporting services settled in the park and held contract-signing and unveiling ceremony, and obtained “pass card”. In the ceremony, the representatives and leaders lighten and opened “ball”. In order to establish a exhibition and communication platform for the artists, “DAC Creative Enterprise Zone” established “home of artists in Jinzhou New District” under the guidance of literacy federation of Jinzhou New District. Nearly 20 artist associations inclusive of writers’ association, artist association, musician association, etc. join in the organization. The park also sets up “tribe of artists”. China Contemporary Oil Painting Institution becomes the first batch of professional organization joining in the tribe. Dalian Bureau of Science and Technology sets up “scientific and technical clinic” in the park. The design and development center of tourism products in Jinzhou New District is set up.
The President Yu Jiayou made a speech and introduced the park in the ceremony. Huang Wenpu, the member of Party Working Committee in Jinzhou New District and the director of Propaganda Department stated that “DAC Creative Enterprise Zone” was of significance to the development of Dalian Art College, the congregate advantages of creative industries in new district and the acceleration in development. “DAC Creative Enterprise Zone” opens the pattern in creative industry park focusing on culture and science & technology and enriches the orientation and connation of high college construction in the development of new district. It plays a positive role in the regional development process, cultural function pattern and economic construction.
